Over 5 years ago, Westman Atelier came to 1r with an online store that required enhancements to match the progress the brand was making outside of its digital presence. With a beautiful assortment of products, it was time to drive brand awareness and establish themselves as a leader in clean and luxurious beauty products.

As Westman Atelier expanded, they aimed to simplify and enhance the website's user experience, as well as improve the website’s slow performance. 1r responded by redesigning the top navigation, homepage, and blog, while also updating email marketing integration and implementing closer site performance monitoring. Landing pages were designed and developed to highlight the brand's charity campaigns, clean ingredients, and sustainability efforts. To grow their customer base and boost engagement, a blog series was introduced, customer reviews were added, and live chat was utilized for a personalized experience from makeup experts.

This upgrade not only provided access to Shopify's latest technology but also focused on creating a top-tier front-end experience centered on brand exploration and product education, optimized for conversion. Key features include custom product bundles, customer reviews, subscription/auto-replenishment, product quizzes, shoppable videos, samples, and a robust loyalty program. A strong SEO strategy was also essential to maintain rankings and identify areas for improvement.
